Some states have a very tough stance on the entire gambling scene in India, including Arunachal Pradesh and Telangana. They follow the Public Gambling Act 1867 but also consider games of skill illegal. In a recent decision, the Karnataka government also announced the Karnataka Police Act, 2021, which makes all types of online games such as betting, gambling and gambling illegal.
